We may process personal data when you contact DaAnalytics or use our professional services. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- first and last name;
- company or organisation;
- email address;
- telephone number;
- information you provide through the contact form or email;
- limited technical information used for website security, spam prevention and abuse protection;
- correspondence and information necessary to provide professional services.
DaAnalytics does not intentionally collect special-category personal data through this website.

When you submit the contact form, we process the information you provide so that we can respond to your enquiry.

- telephone number;

Limited technical information may also be processed temporarily to prevent spam, abuse and automated submissions. This may include an IP address, request timing and basic request metadata.
This information is not used for advertising or visitor profiling.

To answer questions, discuss possible assignments and communicate with prospective clients.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and/or our legitimate interest in conducting our business.

To maintain appropriate business and financial records and comply with applicable legal requirements.

To operate and secure the website and to prevent spam, automated submissions and misuse.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website.
5. How long we retain personal data
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
As a general guideline:
- contact enquiries that do not result in an assignment are normally deleted within 12 months after the last contact;
- client and project correspondence is normally retained for up to 2 years after the end of the business relationship, unless it forms part of records that must be retained for a longer period;
- financial and administrative records that are subject to statutory tax or accounting retention requirements are retained for the legally required retention period;
- technical security and anti-spam information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to detect, investigate and prevent abuse or security incidents.
Where a legal obligation, dispute, contractual requirement or other legitimate reason requires information to be retained for longer, the relevant information may be retained for that longer period.
After the applicable retention period, personal data is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.
6. Sharing personal data
DaAnalytics does not sell personal data and does not provide personal data to third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Personal data may be shared with service providers where this is necessary to operate our business, website or technical infrastructure. This may include providers for:

- email and message delivery;
- website publishing and content management;
- backups, security and technical operations;
- accounting and other professional business services.
Where required, these providers process personal data under appropriate contractual, confidentiality and security arrangements.

DaAnalytics aims to use services that process personal data within the European Economic Area where practical.

This website uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-S2TMBETC8C) to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and basic device or browser information.
The Google Analytics script and analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept analytics in the cookie consent banner. If you refuse, or later withdraw consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and the website still works. You can change your choice at any time through the banner or cookie settings on this site.
DaAnalytics does not use advertising or marketing cookies. Analytics is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or visitor profiling.
Essential technical functionality may still process limited technical information where necessary to operate and secure the website. DaAnalytics does not use that information for advertising or profiling.
9. Email subscriptions and memberships
DaAnalytics does not currently operate a public newsletter, membership programme or subscriber service through this website.
If these services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Statement will be updated to explain what information is processed and for what purpose.
10. Automated decision-making
DaAnalytics does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals solely through automated processing.
Website visitor data is not used for automated profiling.
11. Your privacy rights
Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

- correct inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive certain personal data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on your consent.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

DaAnalytics takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration.
The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections and technical controls designed to protect the website and its supporting infrastructure.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Statement when our website, services, suppliers or legal obligations change.
